We visited this restaurant on 10th August 2007 which we booked for 20.30hrs.

We were disappointed to find that there was no one to greet us and we had to wait 2 or 3 minutes before anyone appeared.

Once at our table the Menu was comprehensive offering a wide range of Italian dishes.The food was well presented and of high quality.The service was acceptable considering there appeared to be only one waitress who was having to show diners to their tables,take orders for food and wine,serve and clear tables.

Overall it was a pleasant evening and we rated Il Cervo 7.4 out of 10.

On Friday 20th September 2007 we booked for 20.30hrs.at this restaurant.Even though we arrived 10 minutes early, we were made to feel very welcome and ushered to our table.

The menu had a good range of pasta's and pizzas  along with  cooked chicken and steak dishes.The food was tasty, well cooked and presented.We all chose different main courses and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Even though the restaurant was very busy the service was very good and we were not rushed between courses.

This restaurant is open every  evening except Sunday and Monday.

Booking recommended.

Overall it was a lovely evening and we rated CAPERS 8 out of 10

Situated on the popular Hythe Marina, this friendly restaurant is always busy, and this night was no exception. Despite the cold December weather, the room was filled with pre Christmas parties and lively music. The staff were welcoming and the menu offered something for everyone. (Our only complaint was that the wine was open when it arrived at the table.) We all selected different meals and all were good quality and well prepared. Being local to home, I feel sure we will visit again.
